This is a great children's song for Earth Hour.

Below are two official Earth Hour videos - the first one is from 2010 and the second one is from 2013. We placed both of them on this page because they are quite different. The 2010 video is very powerful, and we feel that it conveys the concept of what Earth Hour is, globally.
The second one is also powerful, and it provides information on how everyone can take action through the I Will if You Will Challenge. It also has some excellent ideas which teachers and students can use to inspire specific activities/celebrations for Earth Hour.
We recommend that when you introduce Earth Hour to your class, or parents or community members that you show both videos, beginning with the 2010 example. There is additional information below the videos!

Earth Hour has grown from a one-city initiative in 2007 to the world's largest campaign for the planet, uniting hundreds of millions of people across 7001 cities and towns in 152 countries and territories!
This is an excellent opportunity for your students to participate in a relevant, real world global event! Now is the time to begin planning that Project-Based Unit which can culminate in a celebration on Earth Hour and/or Earth Day. See the Celebrate Earth Hour page which contains the following:
